The Luxury suites at Makakatana are available in either Double or Twin configurations, and are equipped with a private viewing deck, en-suite bathroom, spacious outdoor shower and bath, mini-bar, tea and coffee facilities, telephones, and air-conditioning. There is a single day bed in the rooms, suitable for a child or teen to share with parents. The five rooms are bright and spacious.. Makakatana Bay Lodge is the only privately owned Lodge situated within the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park, World Heritage site. The Lodge has 5 Standard rooms, 1 Honeymoon Suite and 2 Family rooms (can take 4 people each). Sleeping maximum 20 people in the Lodge. The rooms are set privately in the Dune Forests on the banks of the Lake.
